Lilly Lewarne recently obtained planned Planning permission for this contemporary dwelling in Penelewey. The client wanted a contemporary family house with intimate connections with the external landscaping. It is due to start on site in July.
We are pleased to announce that The Headland Hotel, Newquay and Barn Conversion at Ponsanooth have both been shortlisted for this years Cornish Buildings Group Awards. The awards will be announced early next month.
Cove Cottage, which was a re-build and extension designed by Ben White at the Practice has featured on the front cover of Build it magazine this month. Situated almost on the beach at St. Loy near Lamorna, the cottage looks out over stunning views set in a peaceful garden.
Neil Dolley at the practice worked tirelessly at the end of last year to organise and co-ordinate householder planning applications to Cornwall Council in order to apply for a new fast-tracking system they were offering. But his efforts were not in vain as Lilly Lewarne Architects have now achieved Accredited Agents Status for submitting householder applications. This basically means that all householder applications sent from the practice will now be fast-tracked through validation and registration with minimal checks.
Short notice to announce that the Lilly Lewarne Architects office will be closed over the Christmas period from Monday 23rd December to Thursday 2nd January. Merry Christmas to all.
After weeks of planning we are pleased to launch our new website. Please feel free to send us your feedback.
