Manor Gardens
Part of a former Convent, Manor Gardens is named after the adjacent historic and Listed Alverton Manor Hotel. The irregular shape of the site combined with the need to keep protected trees made the site layout a challenge. The construction is based on an established traditional masonry construction. Local granite, slate, stone and brick finishes were selected to reflect the established walled garden setting. A special feature of the eight detached houses is original bespoke joinery from local craftsmen.
