Artist’s Residence, Feock

This building was originally a boathouse but won a planning approval at appeal to turn it into a dwelling and artist’s studio. The main body of the building has been retained, renovated and converted. Part of the boat store at ground floor has been in filled with living accommodation. A new stairwell has been added to the side and a new double height glazed extension has been added to the northern side as accommodation for the artist studio. The space affords excellent natural daylight and due to its northerly orientation it is not prone to overheating.
